BARS ARE NOT A SONG, AND THAT IS THE USE
A verse needs a shape: an opening, a turn, somewhere to land. Bars do not. They are the raw material you keep in your notes until the right song comes along, which is why this page hands them over as separate lines rather than a finished block of text.
That is also why keeping is per line here. Nobody uses all sixteen. You are looking for the two that surprise you, and the rest exist to make those two findable.
